Adult CPR/AED w/First Aid and Preventing Disease Transmission
This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness in adults.
Certification: Adult CPR/AED and Preventing Disease Transmissions valid for 1 year, First Aid valid for 3 years.

Pet First Aid
Pet First Aid teaches pet owners how to care for their animals during emergencies. Participants learn how to recognize and apply first aid for emergencies common to animals, such as choking, cuts, insect bites, burns and poisoning. Students also learn how to perform CPR, rescue breathing and abdominal thrusts, for choking, on animals.

First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor w/FIT and Precourse Testing
This 32 hour Instructor Training Program prepares candidates to teach American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/Automated External Defibrillator courses. Participants must first successfully pass a skills and knowledge test before continuing with Fundamentals of Instructor Training.
Requirements: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by last class session. Must successfully complete and pass written and skills testing. Participants must own basic course manuals prior to class. The basic manuals include: First Aid/CPR/AED for Schools and Community, Adult CPR/AED Skills Card, Infant and Child Skill Card, First Aid Skill Card, FA/CPR/AED for the Workplace Participant''s booklet. All of these items can be purchased from the chapter office.
Certification: Authorization for two calendar years.
