Emergency Services Our Emergency services department is comprised of a group of volunteers who train to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergency situations. The Disaster Action Teams are trained to respond immediately to disasters such as house or apartment fires, floods, tornados, hazardous material spills, transportation accidents, explosions and other natural or man-made disasters. The Catawba Valley Chapter also has volunteers who promote community education by presenting information on Pandemic Flu, acts of Terrorism, Fire Prevention, Emergency Preparedness and more. The Catawba Valley Chapter will train prospective volunteers to help serve our community. Please contact David Garrison at
